Most of the state electricity boards are shifting towards kVAh billing, and even those who are not use the mechanism of penalizing clients for lower PF & incentivizing for PF close to unity. Higher PFs also result in substantial increase in the life and health of equipment. ESIPL has successfully commissioned several cases of PF upgradation across manufacturing and commercial buildings.
